Hey gang! There are so many do’s and don’ts on the the path to settling in to your healthy weight that it can be a little mind numbing… wouldn’t you agree? I mean seriously – Eat this! Don’t eat that! O- don’t touch that with a 10′ poll! You better have this in your diet or else! Blah… blah… blah.
Don’t get me wrong… there are things that are better or worse for you then others but the reality is that unless you’re the unfortunate few with celiac disease or some other rare allergy, you aren’t going to die from what you eat. Not feel so good.. perhaps… our bodies haven been beaten up for far too long and they are retaliating (this is a great topic for another time – might be a good one to work on Jenn) but rarely will eating something purchased in the grocery store cause us to die on the spot.
So what’re we to do?!! All too often we are told to eliminate “something” from our diets. And what happens when we’re told we can’t have something…. you got it, we want it MORE! It’s all you think about, dream about and even fantasize about. Gimmie. Gimmie. Gimmie. Right?!
So what if we did something a little different? You up for that? What if, instead of trying to take away something from your diet (aka your eating habits), let’s ADD something. Now you might be thinking.. yea right, if I’m supposed to lose weight why should I ADD something to my diet? Just hear me out…
